estnut Creek School of the Arts is located in the beautiful historic National Bank Building on the corner of Main and Grayson Streets in downtown Galax. The lobby is a gift store and event space, and also houses The Dixon Art Vault, where many of the gift items are located. Classrooms include a jewelry studio, weaving studio, music room, fiber room, painting room (with a sink), 2 multi-purpose classrooms/meeting rooms.

Old Town Pottery
Located at 110 East Oldtown St., Old Town Pottery (OTP) is a fully-equipped pottery studio and is the home of all of CCSA’s ceramics programming as well as the OTP Co-op.
OTP has Open Studio Hours, when the public can come to the studio and use the facility with hands-on assistance for a small fee of $5.00 per visit, and $2.00 per pound of clay used. OTP Open Studio Hours are:
- Wednesday 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
- Friday 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
OTP also offers co-op memberships. Co-op members have full access to the studio and all of its equipment for a monthly fee.
